Building a New Multi-Lingual Website and Brand Identity for ALS Global

The implementation of Sitecore DXP advances digital marketing capabilities and drives lead generation for a global leader in laboratory testing solutions.

The Challenge

ALS Global implemented a new marketing program that reflected its new strategy and included a redesign of its existing web presence. The company aimed to improve the user experience for its customers and modernize its brand image with enhanced functionality and the latest technologies.

ALS Global had been working with digital design agency Court Avenue on the revamped website, but they also wanted to upgrade to a new DXP. This would allow them to advance their digital marketing capabilities and continue to drive leads for their laboratory testing solutions.

The Solution

Oshyn was consulted due to its extensive marketing website expertise, Sitecore expertise, and ability to collaborate well with other agencies. Sitecore XP was selected to deliver ALS Global’s renewed digital experience, while Oshyn provided design support and implementation services.

Oshyn performed a design feasibility analysis and technical assessment to quickly identify and mitigate potential risks during the development process and streamline the implementation.

Development began during the design phase as ALS Global had a tight deadline to launch the new website. Oshyn implemented the latest version of Sitecore XP on Azure Kubernetes (AKS), which included over 18 languages. With Kubernetes, maintenance, scaling, and future upgrades would be easier.

They integrated a segment-leading AI-based search technology in Coveo to power an engaging search experience based on the customer’s geographic location. Sitecore XP was also integrated with an automated translation house, as content was sent from the CMS to translations and then sent back via APIs, aiding a larger initiative that would allow ALS Global to centralize the content and governance.

Oshyn also built an integration with the MS Dynamics CRM to enable customers to move through the funnel more efficiently and OneTrust for cookie management.

The Outcome

Oshyn successfully implemented Sitecore XP and redesigned the ALS Global website within budget and on time. The refreshed website reflected the company’s current offerings and goals and was more responsive, faster, and accessible on various devices. This helped ALS Global to strengthen its brand identity and engage more effectively with its target audience.
