Oshyn is seeking Information Architects who will be responsible for coordinating the content, navigation and design for Internet/intranet/portal business solutions which will be aligned with business needs and functional requirements. IAs will blend strategic business thinking with a strong knowledge of web technologies to construct and document all aspects of information architecture and interactive design. IAs should have the ability to conduct and lead group meetings and be able to clearly articulate their ideas with an exceptional written, verbal, and graphic style.
Information Architects will work as part of multidisciplinary web application development project teams that include graphic designers, business and functional analysts, technical implementers, managers and other experts from Oshyn and the client’s team.
The following are the qualifications and responsibilities:
- Minimum three years of experience as an Information Architect designing Internet-based solutions.
- Strong facilitation, team collaboration and consensus building skills.
- Concept and usability testing facilitation skills.
- Advocate a user-centric design process and translating the results into UI design decisions.
- Creative and organizational vision, strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Leader and role model comfortable working as an individual contributor and / or as a member of a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Motivated and motivating, passionate, charismatic, creative, flexible, has unquestionable ethics and integrity, and willing to take calculated risks.
- A portfolio demonstrating effective information architecture and navigation design for Websites.
- B.A. or work experience equivalent in human factors, user interface design, graphic design or related field.
