The next Sitecore Southern California User Group meeting is on March 9th at 6pm. This month Prasanth Nittala will be talking about Sitecore and Social Media. That should be an interesting topic since comScore reported that in December 2009 nearly 4 out of 5 internet users found themselves on a social media website.
The Southern California Sitecore CMS User Group was created to bring together current Sitecore users and partners, anyone considering using Sitecore as their Web Content Management System, or anyone just interested in learning more about Sitecore and Content Management Systems.
Members will have the opportunity to network, learn more about Sitecore and share best practices and experiences.
The group is led by Prasanth Nittala, Oshyn's Lead Sitecore Developer and Web Content Management thought leader, Christian Burne from Oshyn, Inc.
The group is open to anyone using or interested in the Sitecore Content Management System, or who has an interest in .NET CMS platforms, regardless of technical proficiency; programmers, marketers, content authors, CMS users and others. Marketers are welcome too as Sitecore offers some great advantages to managing website content and online marketing activities. We will discuss all aspects of the platform from logistics to programming and marketing use cases.
